We can provide your organisation with actionable data about the conditions of roofs and external structures within your housing stock. This data can be accessed through a portal, allowing it to be utilised throughout the organisation. The data includes:

What happens if our tenant’s personal information such as faces are captured during your activities?

  • We have a strict quality control procedure in place. Once the data is collected from the drones, our team of skilled data analysts thoroughly review the images to remove any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as faces, etc.

How secure is the data collected?

  • The data collected by the drone is encrypted and secured at every stage of the process. Data security is a top priority and our methods are continually reviewed to ensure the highest standards are met.

What feedback do you generally receive from tenants?

  • The feedback we receive is overwhelmingly positive, with 90% of tenants expressing satisfaction. Comments such as “it’s good to see the landlords taking an interest in the condition of the building and finding a clever way to do it” are common. We would be happy to conduct tenant feedback surveys on-site to capture feedback from your tenants.

How safe is the method of inspection?

  • The safety of the inspection method is significantly improved as the use of drones eliminates the need for operatives to work at height. Regarding the operation of the drones themselves, Vantage UAV has an excellent safety record. We work closely with the Civil Aviation Authority and adhere to strict procedures to ensure public safety.

How qualified are the people flying the drones?

  • All of our pilots are certified professionals with the CAA. They undergo additional training to enable them to operate in highly urban areas, where most pilots cannot fly.

What if we want to build an in-house capability?

  • Vantage UAV can provide the training, guidance and help with obtaining relevant pilot certifications that you need to build a successful in-house data provision team.
